Originally I thought I was going to make my career in theatre. I wore many hats, from director, to co-founder of an activist theatre coalition, to producer, Executive Director of a NYC theatre company, to consultant. And as much as I enjoyed approaching problems and questions about society and culture through theatre, my toolbox was limited to what theatre could give me. So I went looking for another toolbox.
Now I focus on design facilitation and research as a way of breaking down messy big-picture problems with all of their complexities and grey areas, and find actionable points of design interventions to create a more just world.
